Default 1969 Pontiac Catalina

Nose cone on Pontiac is cracking and am looking for a replacement. Any good solutions? Has anyone tried to sand it and repaint? A bit of nostalgia- parents purchased it brand new. All original. Runs good. Slight transmission leak. Have had the transmission worked on three times and it still leaks. Any suggestions? Have others had stubborn transmission leaks?

It'* going to be a hack of a thing to find one that doesn't need more repair than that. If you do, it would still need sanding, repairs, and paint.

Looking at yours, I can't know for sure, but it looks like the paint is cracking, not the plastic underneath.

Regarding the transmission, We'd need to know which transmission it has in order to offer much advice. A little advice though: Three trips to a shop to fix a leak on this transmission tells me it might be time for a new shop.

A picture of the bottom of the transmission and of the leaking area would be helpful as well.

Welcome aboard!
