I have one question.... Am I the only one who knows where the block drain plugs are at? Or is it just a Bonneville Club thing to pull the intake and heads with the coolant still in the motor?

McGrath, Boosty'* stuff isn't spurring me on. I had my plans in place long before he started work. I've had my major components already here since December. The recent events spurring me on relate to the condition of the trans in the SLE.
Boosty, rear cylinder head isn't off yet.
Curt, I do the same thing I used to do back in the day on my old smallblock 350. I drain the radiator, then loosen the head bolts on the ends first and let the coolant drip down into two drip pans below. Then pull the head. I only got about two tablespoons in the 1 and 5, none in the 3.
