YIKES PCM $400!?!
The only company that can make a PCM for my car is DHP. They said it would cost $275, + a $125 core charge. What is a core charge? Also, they said I could wire up a perform shift button since I don't have one. But do I really need one? Couldn't I just have it perform shift all the time or would that hurt the tranny and engine?
BTW- the Pcm would be a DHP version 1.0. Any good gains from that particular PCM?

The core is a deposit you make for your old pcm, when you send in your old one they send you your $125.
The performance shift would be a nice option but you could leave it performance all the time, it just raises your shift points and wont harm the tranny.

Oh, cool so I pay the $400 then when I get the PCM; I then send them my old one and get back the $125? Then it is only $275 which sounds good to me.

With the DHP, I wouldn't leave it on P-shift all the time. I always leave mine off until I need it. The shifts are very hard, and not pleasant for everyday driving. It'* great to have when you need them though. With the DHP, the line pressure increases significantly.
I really like mine. It really changed the way the car ran. My top end power increased greatly from it. Overall, the car is much faster with it.

Not enough of a difference to spend more money on a new pulley when you prolly won't notice the difference.
