Wishing on an LC3 V8...Is it possible in an H-body?
Today I was skimming through the latest GM news when I stumbled across the new 2006 Supercharged Northstar 4.4 Liter V8, and I was like "hmmm, well the GXP'* have the 4.6 Northstar V8, I wonder if a 1992-99 H-body could accomidate the smaller 4.4?" I wonder if it'* possible to mate the engine up to a 4T80E transaxle, that would be nice. It would be nice to cram a 4.4 Liter Supercharged Northstar into an H-body sleeper. 440hp V8 under the hood. HAHAHAHAHA .....just food for thought

That'* a RWD setup for the Caddy'*. You'd have a ton of work to configure that to FWD, or you'd have to convert your drivetrain to RWD. It can be done, but it requires major subframe, firewall, and tunnel/floor modification.

Why not just find the manufacurer of the */C and get a GXP, and Bammo...boost. Im guessing the cost of converting or maiming the engien bay to make that thing work would be about the same as a new car.

If not a 4.4 how about a 4.6?
Well knowing that the 4.4 is a RWD setup, then maybe a FWD 4.6 Northstar? now I know if you can cram one of those into a Fiero, its VERY possible to cram one in a Bonneville. I wonder if they have any supercharger kits for the 4.6 Northstar? :P

No offense but why? A lot more weight and the S2 L67 motor in a bonnie can be so much faster than the northstar would be.
Even the LS4 in the grand prix GXPs are dogs compared to a moderately modded S2 L67 and lets not even bring up the northstar implimentation in the Bonine GXP.

Exactly. For half the money you could just buy a 97 or so SSEi for say $5000, drop $5000 into it to get solid 12s. With the LC3 you'd prolly be looking at 12s. For just that engine alone it would prolly cost around $10,000-15,000, then another $5000 to get you're car prepped. I'd guess you're total cost would be around $25K vs. $10K for a 12 second L67.
