Got back from INTENSE with a few new goodies on the 99 SSEi. Tim King installed a whole lot of tranny pars(if INTENSE sold it, it'* in there) and SLP headers, he got the tranny and the rear header on in one day! The car is an absolute screamer now, literally and figuratively, once I get my rockers changed over this thing will positively scoot.
The drive home wasnt as fearsome as I thought it would be, at 77/8 mph the tach was reading a solid 2500 RPM'*. Accelerating at those highway speeds with the higher stall torque converter didnt present any problems for me either. For MPG I averaged 30.7 on the way back, not shabby at all. The only problem I noticed is that the cruise control seems to work/dont work. When getting onto the interstate after stopping outside Indianapolis the cruise decided to stop working, but when I got to Des Moines it started working again.
INTENSE has a great looking facility and again has impressed me with customer service, professionalism, and delivering great results. I'd like to thank the INTENSE crew again for their hospitality and Tim for his patience and exhausting work.

Great to see you again Seth. (He is probably sleeping in after all that driving back to Minnesota). Once you get the rockers in you can probably run a 3.2 pulley and get some more oomph
Let me know if the cruise keeps cutting in and out and we can get that diagnosed for you.
Glad you made it home safe. 1600 mile trip just to hang with me

To give you a little credit, I bet you were dog tired and didn't care much for stopping
