What is the stock size of a 2000+ SSEi Downpipe
Hi guys
I not 100% sure if this is in the right section, but I have a mechanic that does all my work on my car. He said he can make a downpipe for me, but the bender he has only goes up to 2.5 inches. So I was wonder, what is the stock size of the downpipe.
Thanks

Technically the outside is 2.5". But there'* a second wall in there to keep everything quiet up by the firewall So it'* more like 2.25"

You know.. My 3" downpipe didn't stand up very well to that tree but I bet a 3" dryer vent hose would have. Not that you should choose what you run for intake duct work by it'* resistance to being smashed into a tree = P

Using dryer duct as a downpipe is like cooking on a stove with a tupperware container. It will work, but for a few seconds. Then it will get loud (girlfriend yelling about tupperware melting) and you will have a mess to clean up in a lol.
