if i could get a 15" rim to fit my car i would use a M/T ET DRAG size
22.0/8.0-15 or 24.5/8.0-15
M&H Racemaster also makes a 23.0/8.5-15 drag slick
stock for my car is a 27" tall tire, going to a shorter tire will let me use
3rd or maybe 4th gear in the 1/4 mile.
my car goes through the lights at 96 mph in 2nd gear.
my car would be quicker if i could run shorter tires.

Mickey Thompson also makes a pretty good Drag Radial with an R2 compound.
I'm having a hard time finding anyone who sells Hoosier in Canada. I can order from US but the duty is a killer.

That was a steal.
I priced the MT Drag Radials at $200 each without rims.

My dad ran 26x10.5x16 ET Streets on his GTP with no tubes. They stick pretty well, and I think they were around $180 a tire, but I could be wrong. He needs to get new slicks as his are worn out (after 3 racing seasons) and he will be going with the same thing since he has had good luck with them. With stock differential he still pulls consistant 1.75 60'*, with some suspension modification and learning how to launch a little better I still believe it is capable of 1.6 60'* with no problem.

Shawn, what rim width is he using? 7 1/2" or 8"?
The Hoosiers are 26x9.5x16 but I see the MT are 1" wider.
Does he have to heat them up long in the burn out box?
Does he put them on at the track or drive to the track with them on. Just wondering why he went with Streets in stead of full on drag slicks.
