I'm very pleased with my (single inlet/dual outlet) Dynomax Super Turbo muffler...still using the factory catalytic converter and factory 2-1/4" piping as well...

Im gonna have to side with matt(ELMACHOGERACHO) on this one, i have the exact same setup as him and it sounds mean, nice low tone. I have personally heard the flowmaster compared to the straight through mufflers and the straight through mufflers DO have rasp and dont quite have as low of a tone as the chambered design flowmaster uses.

If you like it loud all the time in the car Flowmaster
if you like to talk to someone while you drive but also like to hear it when you get on it Magnaflo
if like it quiet in the car but makes a nice tone outside the car Dynomax
IMO
PS : as has been said before do it a piece at a time to make as loud as you want
muff cat resonator in this order for sound,
and if it gets to loud for you put back on the stock one

Out of those three listed, the Magnaflow is proven to flow the best and Dyno the best.

thats not true, flowmaster is not loud all the time, its quite at idle and from 3-4500rpms, and i can hear ppl talkin to me in the car, even at full throttle.

same here, its got a nice tone but i wouldnt call it loud, ive been in cars before where you couldnt hardly talk to the other person or on a cell phone much less, but Matt and i agree that the flowmaster is just right, not to abnoxious and not so quiet you can hardly hear it. And yes you can still talk on a cell phone with a flowmaster 80 series on your car

you shouldn't be driving around yakking on the cell phone anyway...lol.

The slight differences in power mean only one thing to me...choose a muffler by what SOUND you like...Dynomax is one of the best flowing out there...always has been, but I liked the sound when I heard it on that Fear the Pearl webpage linked above...Flowmaster is one of the worst flowing mufflers out there...been proven many times over, but they all sound good to certain paeople, whether it be Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Dynomax, or whatever...

If you want a V8 sound go with the Flowmaster. The ONLY way. Magnaflow may have better flow, but the flowmaster sound is AWSOME! Much loader and has more grunt to it.
