You guys are going to crap when you see the prototype idler arm. I'm fabricating with not much more than a dremel, going after the general shape. I don't feel like driving 15 miles to hp to use the machine shop.
Pics of the proto unit (fully functional) should be up tonight.

First prototype version is installed and running fine.
Interesting note, the engine was actually running at idle for these pics. Shutter speed seems to be a little quick with the flash.
Excellent beltwrap.

Hella beltwrap. Maybe even beltWARP. That'* far more wrap than the 2.8" pulley this setup should have on it. This should do fine with the 2.0" pulley (2.2" pictured), so isn't it a good thing that I fabbed TWO identical prototype brackets, so I could use one for the 2.2" and one for the 2.0?
And it takes 60 seconds to swap them.
(and the extra bracket could also be welded to this one for more stiffness if needed, but I don't think it'* needed)

You sir are the best. You made that with just a dremel . Have you notice any improvement in throttle response? And that is a 3" pulley right?
