tried to tune... car wont start
so after i finally got a DHP bin file for my car i tried to upload it to the PCM and it failed, so i tried again, and then failed as well.
so after that i disconnected the interface and tried to start the car...well the gauges did the bouncing around but the car would not crank and as far as a can tell the injectors didnt prime, i tried disconnecting the battery but nothing worked
so what does work is accessories, but TC wont turn on, and no reading for the fuel, temp, but the voltage was giving a reading, so right now my car is stuck in the middle of my driveway with no way to move it
need help like NOW!

Not real knowledgeable with DHP, but I do remember hearing about bricking your PCM What this means is a write failed due to not enough voltage and then makes it very hard if not impossible to write to it again. Is there a DHP forum you can go to that may have more information? You can try calling a scrap yard to see if they have a PCM for your year and do a swap nd see if that helps.

so im pretty sure i bricked the PCM now, the tuner wont connect at all to even get info from the PCM, so my question is can i get a PCM from another year car with the same style connectors and make an offobard connector to flash my file onto it?

You will need the same year. You will need some help here though. The new PCM will not have the correct VIN, but that can be programed in. I would suggest setting up a bench connection to do your tunes. You will need a PCM plug/harness, and a OBDII plug. I don't have any instructions on how to do this. Or you can do this. This is from another club where I read about this problem. BonnevillePRO.com • View topic - Stop bricking pcm'* with your DHP The fix seems simple.

ha yah it took me a half hour to push it into the garage yesterday,
but i will try to track down a PCM, same year i understand, do i need the same trim too?, hopefully with some of the harness left on it, i found directions on a DHP forum about making a offboard connecion to it, i'd rather do that instead of cutting some wires in my car

I can understand not wanting to cut wires.
As for a PCM, I had seen several on Ebay last night, most around $69 or so. Let'* see what I can find here.

Your best bet is to contact the seller. Looks like they will program in your VIN and what ever else you will need. That way you are sure your getting the correct PCM.
