Can you please put your year and trim level in your signature? We need to know what you own.
Nobody programs for a 180. It'll be fine. Most of us run them, and they run fine with stock PCM'*. You don't start getting into trouble with the PCM until you try to put in a 160°, and there are other methods of dealing with that other than reprogramming.

I'm sorry for not having info for you but another question to add. I do have a 160* drilled t-stat, stated earlier was there are other ways to get around putting it in besides reflashing the comp. please fill me in, i am going to get mine reflashed eventually after I get some more mods...but how can put the tstat in

The idea of the lower TStat is to change when it opens. Nothing really changes the operating temp of the engine. This just makes it take longer to get there.
You'll probably notice lower operating temps on the highway (due to airflow and the stat being open), but when you're stuck in rush hour, it'll still hit the same temps.
