Yes that'* exactly what I am planning. No more than flush or a hair less. Definitely don't want them sticking out too far.
Thanks for the feedback.

That engine bay is stunning...

I think just a hair tucked is perfect.

I agree that an 1-2 in would grab a little attention. I'm wondering though how much room there is for the hangers to allow.

I think an inch would be cool. 2 might be overkill.

I prefer the stealth look, anyway, so keep that in mind when you read my suggestion

With the exhaust system back in place now I can see more clearly how much it should be extended.
2" would be perfect.
Even 1" would look better but unfortuneately the stock hangers won't allow any movement. I would have to cut off and reweld the center hanger and each of the muffler hangers.
Oh well, I think I'll save that mod for when I switch to the 3" pipes next year.

2" would place it just shy of flush with the end of the cut-out.

Bullet? Why is Mike Remers address on a box there?

Did I miss something?

I erased that pic. It was the only way I could send him a pic of his new Power Module that is on its way to him on Monday. It was a good thing too because he gave me the wrong address and I had to correct it.
I got so caught up with the sound of my open headers that I forgot to erase it right away.
He got an excellent deal. We're both winners.

I just finnished mating the flex pipe to the cat and In doing so I pushed the exhaust back about 3/4". My tails are more noticable but could still could use another inch.

That'* great.
So how noticeable is the exhaust note now that you have it connected back up :?:

I'm still working on the motor mount mod before I finished connecting up the exhaust. The urethane rubber and bolt are due in tomorrow.
