Flux core represent!!
My welds aren't pretty either. Practice makes prefect though. One trick with flux coring is to grind down the two pipes you are connecting so they meet like a V. Makes it easier to penetrate. I've also heard to wrap layers of tin foil beside where your welding to reduce splatter.

Well, I finally got around to taking a couple more pics down here in Arizona. They're not the best, but you get a better idea of the car'* overall look from the rear.
I might be able to get more video on Monday... I'm meeting with Echo SSEi and some Arizona GP guys, and maybe one of them will have a camera that takes video with sound. If anyone has questions about how we did this, what I would do different, or how to replicate it on their own car, feel free to post here or send me a PM.
