Still too quiet but deadly torque!!!
Scared myself last night driving my SSEi up one of my favourite hills.
The incline is just after an uphill right hand bend that can be taken at about 60 mph at the edge of adhesion but usually 50 mph is entertaining enough, then straight up about 1/8 mi cresting at the top to a short straight section. It can be a good gage of power increases to see what terminal speed you can get to at the top where the speed sign says 60 kph.
In my 400 Firebird I can get it up to 100 mph at the crest. It will get air.
So I decide to try it with Bonne to see how much of an improvement the exhaust upgrade made.
There was no traffic....as usual at that time of the day.
Only went around the corner at about 50 mph and then nailed it.
Very noticeable improvement in pulling torque.
Got it up to over 90 mph at the crest, the front end came up and the tires started spinning on the dry pavement.
Scared the crap out of me. It never did that before
The sound is noticeably better too with the deeper stacatto tone but it'* still very quiet even without the CAT.

SMOKIN'!!! I've got a couple roads just like that. One of them I can get BOTH right side tires in the air if I hit at the right speed.
Jason, TC should be active only under 25 mph Yours too.

I just hit 3 huge frost heaves with the LSS about 3 weeks ago about 55 on county road and the traction control went nuts. It didnt know if it was comming or going, frankly neither did I I was lucky I didnt do major damage to the cars suspension. It was way out of control. Flew and bottomed out 3 times. Not the kinda car to be doing WRC stunts in

I'm in the habit off always turning off my traction control when the roads are dry.
The difference that ducting cold air into the fenderwall opening is significant. The computer sits right at its exit point. It is always chilled cold when I pop the hood after a heated run. About the same temp as the outside air.
The difference those headers made was more than significant.
I've been waiting 6 wks now for the DHP PCM. Zoomer is following up but it seems that they didn't get the US Customs forms correct and it got sent back. They are supposedly shipping me another one right now. :?

I like doing burn-outs at high speeds, but not at that speed.
I was going to do DHP for my 99, but heard of a newer, cheaper, better alternative coming soon -can't wait. My SSEi will probably be one of the fastest in MN (Gotta get Gordon out to the track for some real comparisons -he'll probably kill me now, but once I get my custom ECM the tables will more than likely turn -watchout Gordy, I coming up behind you).
