Speed shut down eleminate? Hypertech?
I have a 2000 bonneville SLE and I notice when was flying down the highway that my car shuts off around 105. My 91 caprice use to do that so I bought a performance chip from hypertech. Can I get a performance chip?

INTENSE is easily the most popular PCM on this forum. Great price, and great support too. You'll want some basics first, like a better intake and a 180° thermostat for starters.

but make sure you get speed rated tires before you start enjoying a speed limit free life - there'* a reason that your car was limited from the factory, and it'* related to your tires...

tires
I'm not worried about the tires. Speed rating on tires are for sustained speeds for hours. I will also be going with some 20s with Z rated tires. How fast will my car go without the speed limmiter?
