some mod questions (FWI, and pulley)
how are ya'll doing?
well i got the money green 2000 ssei and its time for some mods. i just got a couple quick questions...
1. should i spend the extra money on an intense FWI or just do the rice pipe CAI? my only concern with the rice pipe is that it will suck hot air, and just look like garbage under the hood.
2.for the pulley, would a 3.4 pulley and FWI or CAI be safe?
thanks,
nick

I have had a few types of cai and have found the Intense fwi to be perfect. Not only is the k&n filter protected in the fender well drawing cold ambient air but it also comes with a quality pcm tray that is needed when removing the stock air box.
3.4" pulley is ok if you have the fwi but some increased exhaust flow would be a good idea too. Ported manifolds are the flavour of the day but headers flow more and I still consider my headers to be my best mod thus far.

I don't have any experience with the Intense FWI, but I'm liking the FWI I have a lot. I had it made by a local guy who'* selling them for about the same price. All his info as well as a few pics of mine can be found in this thread:

Regardless of who you go with, an FWI is the way to go!
