I wrote to pulleyboy asking them about the pulley, waiting for a response. I was looking at scperformance and i found the pulley for the car but i notice that it is a 2.25 pulley. will this work on my car or is it going to hurt it more then help it.I have a 87 GN and I know what happens when we get to much boost.I check marchperf and didn't see anything there for superchargers.
still looking for speed, just trying to do it right the first time.

Ok, the most important thing with SC pulleys is not to get confused between the diameters of Series I vs Series II. 2.25" may sound way too small, but the M62 has a smaller stock pulley than the m90 to begin with. If you measure the diameter of your stock pulley with the belt off, you'll see what I mean. My advice would be that if you want a smaller pulley, buy the only one offered......SCPerformance. You're going to go to alot of trouble and expense having someone else make one. You're not going to add stress to the engine, only the SC. If you take care of it, it'll be alright. YOu WILL add heat to the engine, but this can be remedied with the 180 stat and second tranny cooler.

The guys at SCPerformance specialize in Superchargers. I'd trust them and their product. Yes, that'* the pulley I'll be installing on my own. Jet Stage II chip comes first, though.
