Be honest just one wouldnt cut it for a group buy....no one else seems very interested in doing it....if I can get like 5 people together than I could do it for probly 600 or less.....but my cost alone for having the heat exchanger built was almost 300...and that doesnt include the plate gaskets hoses front mount exchanger accessories and pump. I may just have to live being the only SER1 L67 with an intercooler. I talked to the guy that built the heat exchanger for me and he told me that he could cut me a seriosely good deal on a group buy (maby 150 my cost) if no group buy happens then were looking at probly better than 800 for my cost alone. The real deal is I dont want to sell any of these untill after I have mine successfully worked out and all the bugs gone, so I can show a true gain in KR loss. When I do this (by the end of winter) I can have another custom built for another buyer......again where the group thing comes into play. I have put alot of effort and will put alot of money into building the first one, but building the next few will be alot easier once everything is sorted out.

Thanks for the interest, and I will keep everyone updated on the successes and failures as they come about (right now im looking for a local CNC macnine shop to build the plate and im getting all of the measurements together for them)

I could stomach 800 if that keeps you from being the only one ever. Not an ego thing. You and I are in the same boat. 95 SSEi'*. What are you going to do with your engine computer? Is gmtuners.com are only option for a chip? Not being able to reprogram the ECM has stopped me from doing alot of things i wanted to do. keep me posted. Maybe you/we could do an ebay auction for pre orders (once it is tested) to see if we/you can't get 5 together for a group buy. Have you tested for hood clearance?

im planning on getting in contact with GM tuners after a dyno run and a few good scan tool runs, so I can give them all the info they need (I have a spare chip to send them to have reprogrammed so im in good shape there) The worse case scenario for the hood clearance will be no SC cover and cutting of the underhood fire gaurd (this would be extreme) were talking 1.5" more room and im hoping I can still keep my pretty SC cover LOL

I appreciate the praise.....be honest theres like 4 different water to air intercoolers already made for the M90 SER2 cars....ZZP has a short stack for like 600 bucks.....but I do have the Regal with the SER2 L67, and after its first round of mods I may just take it down for next winter and build one for it as well.......ahh the L67 what a wonderfull motor to mod!!!

I'm in on a set of headers also. Basicly if it'* a group buy for anything performance i'm in. I've even considered the bottle i'm so thristy for go fast mods.

Mandrel bent headers?? If so can a group buy get some for 500 or less?
I agree a 2.0" pulley with headers and an IC would be excellent, and probably not have too much KR......im thinking a 2.2" for the street with 15+ psi boost is a good goal......lots O power there!
