S1L67 injector upgrade?
Is there any point ot switching up to higher-flow injectors on my lightly modded motor?
Keep in mind that I'll be looking for someone to fab some headers come spring.
I already have new stock plugs and wires, a drilled 180* thermostat, a 3" fenderwell intake, a 2.5" pulley, and of course I did the STOP-fast bits before I even thought about the GO-fast bits, and I have good tires.
I'll also be replacing my O2 sensor soon.
Is there anything else I should do before headers?

I doubt that your maxing out your injectors right now or after headers.
Theres an equation for seeing if your maxing out your injectors that i think Dr Jay knows, hopefully he'll chime in.
If your mechanically inclined enough to fab up your own headers, did you ever think about porting your throttlebody?
You might need some a/f adjustment after that, which could be done with a tech edge mini air fuel calibrator they sell them at www.zzperformance.com
With the 2.0 version, you can create your own fuel curve, which is good for dyno tuning.

DrJay still has stock injectors. And he can't outflow them. Use that as your benchmark. In other words, don't waste your money. Your injectors are probably only running at 80% duty cycle at the most.

Well that solves that.
Does that a/f calibrator work with OBD-1? If so I may look into that. I'm thinking of adding a few guages as well.
I want to replace the cluster I have now with a non-SC cluster and move the boost guage to the pillar. The guage in the stock cluster only goes to 10lbs of boost and it pegs out well before redline. I also want a volt and intake air temp guage.
I've got some plans for this car and they don't stop at the 15-flat mark.
Ricers beware...

The afr calibrator from ZZP works on series one. I have one. And yes i have a larger TB. I would like to tell you that it was all worth it but i/we have a different issue with high rpm stutter that keeps me from knowing how much if any difference this makes. With the afc2.0 i can use a different MAF and have the one in the TB removed and smoothed out. Maybe by summer. Even if we can't outflow our injectors would a "matched" set be worthwile?

The major point I'd like to make with respect to the AFC calibrator in Gonneville'* case is that he wouldn't benefit from it. He has a FWI and a 2.5" pulley. There'* no reason for an AFC calibrator.
A flow-matched set of injectors wouldn't be worth the money you spent on them (for less than 5hp gained) unless you were desperately trying to squeak every last bit of power out to break into the 13'*. I think spending that money on rockers or a cam would be a much better investment. Do the mods that return more power for less money first.

Hrm...if by matched you mean balanced, then like Will said don't bother. Most injectors from the factory are within a few percentages of each other. When mine were sent to Marren Fuel Injection they were balanced within 1%. I would believe, and don't quote me on this, that most aftermarket injectors are given the same treatment. Most aftermarket parts are held to more stringent guidelines than stockers and this would seem something that follows suit. Might shoot Accel an email to find out for sure though.
Also like Will stated, you really don't seem to need an AFC right now. You usually only do that if you've done a modification that the MAF can't accomidate for such as larger tb'* (more unmetered air) or a different MAF.
