resonator

Ummmm....fricken ENOURMOUS. My generic hosting account for my old WCBF pics seems to be dead or very tired right now.
It'* about 24" long, and we cut the flanges off each end to make it fit, and so the existing piping could slip fit INSIDE the new resonator. PontiacDad, driverjohn2005 and 2000SilverBullet were there when it was installed, and may have other pics until my cheap hosting comes back up. I don't think I have pics on my own server of it.
I can crawl under the car and measure it later today if you want.

Willwren,
Whenever you have a chance, no rush, I would like to know the diameter of the resonator body, the inlet/outlet size. I have not found a resonator itself in the Magnaflow catalog, therefore I assume you installed one of their round mufflers.
Thank you in advance. I plan to install a Carsound cat, Maganflow resonator and "F-Body" muffler prior to doing the pulley change. I am also searching for a set of front Reflex struts since Rock Auto cannot procure them anymore.

Reflex struts can be ordered from almost anywhere on the 'net.
I'll get some pics later, so I can have some time to jack up the car for some better measurments. I can't measure the inlet and outlet, as the flanges were cut off to make it fit better. They were originally 2.5" if I recall, which would be fine, but we went for that little bit extra in cutting flanges, and slipping my existing intermediate pipe inside the flanges of the resonator, then welding. The ID of the resonator in the chamber looked to be about 3", and the OD of the whole thing was 6" or so. So call it 6"x24" with 2.5" inlet and outlet, and a 3" chamber (until I can get some more accurate measurments).
It does look very much like the universal 6" round or the race series, but I'll have to confirm the length to figger it out.

Tennis ball directly below the resonator for size reference until I can squirm under there in something other than my clean work clothes to measure:
Notice how close it comes to the turn in the intermediate pipe to the left of the pic? Front of the car is to the right.
Pay no attention to the stain of transmission death under the RF passenger footwell.
