you can either buy the extender fron Intense Racing IAT extender or if you're comfortable with a soldering iron use a couple of pieces of wire the same size and extend it yourself,shrink tube the solder joints and use wire loom to protect the wires

Make sure ya' keep the wires matched when ya' solder them back together

Preferably, you put in the filter. If you choose the pipe, you drill a hole and install a bushing.

The air filter. If you get the right filter, say the K&N RX-4750 that a lot of us have, it has a hole for the IAT in it.
