Default rear air struts for bonnevilles

hey guys I have a 2000 se bonne,one of my rear struts was leaking,i have notice the GXP has a heavy duty rear strut,so I went to the dealer and order the 2005 gxp struts,I install then in my 2000 ,they bolt right in , no problem, no special tools,it took about five minutes per strut,air lines fit perfect,test drove it rides smooth.if you guys need the part #* let me know,and struts are left and a right,left is $189 and right is $196

Are those shocks or struts? I was pretty sure they are shocks????

Hi guys they look like shocks to me also,but the dealer books got them as air struts.billboost37 posted parts america web,about the air shocks these are old school air shock,you have to pump air in them and install a fill valve,,with the ones I installed uses the facotry ,hardware same compressor ,if you have these,is a five minute job not special tools,with the onsee from partsamerica you going to spend a least 4 to 5 hrs trying to install these,as soon as i can get under the i will take picts and post them,to me i was worth to spend the 400 bucks and 15 minutes even my wife notice the differencein ride quality,if you want quick response please contact me at 281 9611535 and will get the part #'* for you I'm not in the computer often

You can get replacements for your car w/o going to the dealer. The replacements hook up to the factory air lines etc w/o any problems

and thanks for that information on the struts. I would like to know if you noticed any difference in the luxury ride quailty. and what did the technician say about the diference.

Jimi, remember when you use the search for something, to look at the date of the threads. Mailibu only posted 3 times, 2 years ago and we havent heard from him since.
