chill dude, I just want some cheap posi
I'm just saying what I've seen. It'* just a stock monte with the 3400.
And he doesn't have the 3.33. His first gear shifts at 53mph. Redline is 6k.
I didn't mean to make some controversy, I just want to know if anyone has heard of this or if it is possible to swap the [possible] posi from it'* diff with my gears.

If its a 3400 what year is the Monte? There is a difrence between the 60 and 65-E'*
And being a 96, is it the 3400 or the 3.4 DOHC? Big diffrence here
And disregaurd the 65-E.....
After some research the only 3400 used in the monte for 96 was the DOHC 3.4 Vin X.. He should have an RPO for FW9 or 3.43 Gear ratio...
Is this Monte an LS or a Z34?
These parts may work in your trans, but I can't say 100% for sure.. You'll have to rip the entire trans down to get to the Diff

It'* a 3.4 DOHC. I'm pretty sure it'* Z34, it has twin dual output exhaust. And it'* a 96. I'll ask him tomorrow about his RPO codes, and since it'* snowy as crap we'll do a real posi test... one wheel in ice one on dry.
