I WANT TO MAKE SWEET LOVE TO YOUR CAR!
Opps....that just came out. :P
Turtle get a digital camera in movie mode goin' or a camcorder to catch the action! Then post it up on the net cause I wanna see this beast moving.
Oh btw...I'm lookin at nitrous this spring (dry - 75 shot). Does Venom have a simple kit that could get me up to speed in a few hours of installation?

I'll bite.
If you're racing a hopped up TurboCoupe, SuperCoupe, or SportCoupe you're going to have your handles more full than you might think.![Wink](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/wink.gif)
If it'* modded out, they're pretty quick.![Smile](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I think the best time I've seen a TurboCoupe run (off the bottle mind you) was a 12.8.
With some tuning and a shot, it'd probably hit low twelves. And that'* with the 4-banger.
The Cougar XR-7 (Same as a SuperCoupe) my buddy has runs a 12 flat no nitrous.

Hey Turtle, I like what you have done to boost your performance. Smoke em!
Always room to improve a great car
I live in a small coastal town in BC Canada where the one dealer in town uses a 5 pound hammer to fix trani'*
. What city in Canada do you live in? Let me know the name of the Pontiac dealer who does the "performance" tune-ups.

Giving it a good ole shot of juice at about 40MPH after just dropping it into 2nd might give you low 14'*, even high 13'* IF you ported the heads and modded the exhaust a bit. I'd loved to see the mod list if these are really doing 12.8. I have a couple of friends who run SVO and TC'* that would love to get those numbers.
The SuperCoupe had a similar engine to the Series I L67 and it had similar numbers across the board...weight, boost, HP, torque. Since there is only 1 Bonneville around that does a 12 second 1/4, and it'* a Series II that is seriously modded, I'd ask your friend where he runs that monster and how much he paid Coy Miller for his underhood work. Coy and his crew do some of the baddest Ford 3.8L mods around (440HP@5300RMP / 490FTlbs@2600RPM - RWD) I'm sure Scott (BadSSEi) is up to a challenge!

low 12'* slightly modded - I find it hard to believe !
I've got 2 cars in the family , 1 mine, doing low 12'* and high 11'* ! My monte tops out at 163 mph and the camaro at 168 mph ! I had to get a roll cage to prevent my car from folding in half! FWD is different cause the car is being pulled like the turtle'* bonnie but my cars are RWD and I almost crack my t-top on the monte! Not to metion the m.t. slicks I had to buy to get those numbers ! There is way more to jut ligtly modded and a shot to this story ! Please tell me more !!!
PS - I'm looking at a 200hp shot for my monte , but alot of people like the fact that it'* n/a !

My dad used to have an '87 GN 3800 SFI Turbo with 16psi boost. It could turn T-Birds into oil, eat Mustangs for fuel, and pretty much crush anything that came next to it.
Now that'* an engine!
