Once you open up the valve train I suggest concentrating on the exhaust system. Headers, or Plog with a new down pipe and free flow cat and you will be all set.

Yeah im kinda doing things in my own jacked up order. my focus is currently on the exhaust> i had a long convo with purple about hi flo cats the other day. I'll be purchasing one within the next week. I do think im gonna go ahead and open the down pipe up to 3", meaning i'll need a hi flo cat with a 3" inlet and outlet, right? Just of the top of your head do you know how much it is to install new 3" down pipe and straight pipe to the Y?

That will depend on the shop. I know a guy I went to auto school with at a exhaust shop so I get a deal. Got mine welded in place for $50.

Yes you can, but looking at your sig, you have a 93. I'm not sure if there are high ratio rockers for that engine. Billboost will have the answer on that.

Installing 1.9:1 rockers will not hurt your millage. The evil right foot will do that.

lol, would it be something that would be a noticable preformance gain? how hard is it to change the valve springs?

I second the curiousity on IF the 1.9s would work on a series 1... looking at the upgrade after the pulley swap... i hate the mod bug... it bites sooooo good lol
