there are few people out there than can tune the 3800 PCMs like PFYC, ZZP, Intense or even anyone with a HP tuner or whatever can tune them..
GXP is different because there is no tuner out there for it and its not even unlocked yet...
500 for a tune that no one can do or have done in the past 6 years aint that bad of a deal..

$500 to open up the PCM so you can start modding hardly seems worth it, how much is out there for a N*? besides intake and exhaust which don't require tuning
if you call what Intense and ZZP do tuning then yes they "tune" our cars but it really needs to be specific to your car, usually they do dyno tuning for your car for a small strap down fee then a fee for each pull

theres barely anything for the GXP because the PCM is not unlocked yet... once its unlocked you can do whatever you want...
im sure installing a turbo wouldnt be so bad :P

I know about all the parameters you can change, I use HP Tuners for my car but is there a big selection of performance upgrades made for the LD8?
20 HP is on the barely just gonna feel it threshold but is more in your head kind of power
good luck on squeezing a turbo under that hood lol

Been known for ages that Cadillac was VERY conservative on the ignition side. Apparently that is where the power in these engines is disappearing to.
Yes, there is power to be gotten out of these in a tune. And mileage.
I will be all over it once it is available.

Don't hold your breath. We've been here waiting for 5 years. IMO, it aint happening. grab two slices of bread and make a wish sandwich.
