Looking to get a intense stage 1 kit and dont know how much to advance the timing 1,2,3,or 4 degrees. My car is all stock and want to get it to a stage 2 some day. Anything I should know before getting it. Any one who has a stage 1 do you like it-any problems??

leave the timing stock, These cars have lots iof problems with knock.
I am Very well modded, and i run the "stock" gtp timing tables. I can only increase my timing with Race Gas.

Xince you seem to be around the corner... If you'd like to stop by I can scan the car and get a base idea of how it'* doing before you hit up the mods.

That would be cool of you to scan my car, but I think I was misunderstood, what I ment by timing was WOT timing that intense would do to my PCM.

We actually understood you completely. A scan will tell us/you what is going on and if any additional timing is possible.
PM on the way.

Been having some tranny problems so took it to a reliable shop for a scan and came back with 1 code (dont know it) but was told it was taking longer then half a second to shift and sending this code to raise the pressure to componsate and causing my hard shifting--
my symptoms are when I drive in stop and go for a while my tranny starts to shift hard when its shifting hard I check the fluid and its way overfull, when I check it when its not shiftig hard the level is normal
ANY IDEAS

I am having the same issue and believe it to be related to a malfunctioning pressure control solenoid. I am going to install a performance shift kit, which will avoid those 1/2 second shifts that send the tranny into high pressure mode.
Others have suggested running Seafoam transtune through the tranny to see if it will correct a sticking PCS. Not sure if I am going to try that.
