Nobody does anything with the 1996 PCMs from what I gathered. Ideally, those are the tables that are needed for this application, then we just work our way through the tables, tweaking the values.
Even if the trans tables did exist in the PCM that is in there right now, I still couldn't...and wouldn't...drive it. Making it idle smoothly is one matter, the driving tables are another animal entirely. For proper tune, I WILL have to get a wideband O2. Plus, my front suspension is still a bit on the "eh" side...not to mention the utter need for new tires. Oh, and it isn't registered anymore.
After work today I need to fix a few things....that TPS is one of them. I also need to change out all the fluids, and start buttoning things up. Assuming my tuner gets here Wednesday or Thursday, the car should be out of the garage next week.
Then I can start my garage upgrades :P

I think it should. I'd have to verify if the pinouts at the transmission are the same first. All that would be needed to change would be the gear ratio and *maybe* the reluctor tooth count.

Still no check engine lights, I have to say I'm kind of surprised by that. Is it running a tad smoother than it was last night or is that just my imagination?
I was curious as to how far off the MAF table might be so I checked the L67 MAF table against the L36 which should be closer to what you need. It averages about 1g/sec higher flow across the MAF frequency I was seeing...which when the MAF is saying you're only flowing 6-8g/sec is a lot of extra fuel being commanded.
