Well, on my last trip to the pick-a-part, I found a salvaged (rear-ended) '02 DTS with a good engine... And I got to thinking, would that bastard fit in my '98 SSEi, tranny and all?
I want objective, unbiased opinions here. Simple, yes or no. None of that "It'd take a lot of work" BS. My mom'* daily-driver is a twin-turbo minivan that we built ourself. What I'd like to know is if the complete Caddy drivetrain would mate with the Bonneville (electronics, sensors, etc.)
Has an engine swap of this kind been done on a Bonneville, or Impala/Grand Prix/etc?
