New Injector Questions
Ok..... so we know my injectors are maxing out.
We are suspecting this is because the fuel pressure is low and they are trying to compensate.
I've ordered a new fuel pump, as well as new injectors (so that *IF* the pump doesn't fix it, I won't have to order and wait a week for injectors).
Problem is I'd have to reprogram the PCM for the new 42# injectors..... correct?
........ how can I go about doing that if I don't have a tuner....
Obvious answer is..... find someone with a tuner.....
But can the dealer reprogram.... if needed? can/will they do that?
...... any ideas?

You might want to get the updated program and install the injectors and pump at the same time to reduce down time?
Would there be any risk to running #42 injectors when you dont really need them?

If the injectors are still maxed, then install the injectors the next day.
Good question PDad........ is there any risk to running 42# injectors w/o the proper PCM?
My thoughts are that the PCM will still causing the injectors to open and add fuel as if they were less powerful, causing more fuel to go into the mixture, which could cause it to run rich. This could be a problem.

Sounds like this to me. You've ordered the injectors and pump. Why run the risk of still being maxed for $10 plus shipping. Send Intense the PCM when you know there'* only a week for the parts to be in. They get it, and turn it around quick. You are down a week, but when you get back up. It'* with a new pump, injectors that'll definately be able to handle the load and a pcm programmed for the setup.
Do the same thing I do...use your other car...lol

Working it out with Intense right now.......
See the 91 is in the shop and I need the cars daily to drive Jen to work.
You mentioned using an AFC? I've got the mini AFC from ZZP.... it'* currently on the 91.... but we are waiting for wastegate springs.
Could I use that on the 97 to temp run the 42# injectors?
