Well recently I installed 7.5mm Autolite Premium Silicone Wires and TR55s...havent noticed that much of a difference from my Double Platinum Bosch'* with AC Delco 7mm wires...

FYI

anyone with an LN3...anything over 7mm will NOT fit in the front retainer...heh..mine is like bulging...but hey...it works...plus they are silicon...so they are SUPER heat resistant...

Also, I believe the NAPA Beldens for the Series 1 are 8mm while the Series 2 are 7mm, IF I remember correctly. But as stated it'* only insulation and nothing else. You don't need 8mm.

There is no BEST. Just the most preferred. NAPA Belden Premiums took over the top spot by a large margin after Taylor wires fell out of favor for issues. Taylor and Bosch are prbably the most troublesome wires we've had.

8mm wires only buy you more insualtion which you don't need. We rarely short through the insulation with good wire routing. 8mm wires are difficult to get through the OEM retainer as well.
This is true about the retainer, I was still able to get mine in, and mine are 8.5 plus they are warrentied for up to 600 degrees and up to 1000 degrees in short bursts (3 minutes).

This is correct. When I got my Beldens, I asked for a set from a '95 SSEi. They're 8mm, and they reach all the plugs without a problem. Even if it'* just an extra millimeter of insulation, I'll take it

i kicked it up a notch and went with the TR55IX NGK iridium plugs. I have Delco Double Platniums in there before and i noticed a big difference. I'll probably swing by NAPA and pick up some wires. My Autolite Professionals from my store just don't seem very well made.

I went up to Napa tonite and grabbed a set of Belden max premium wires along with platinum NGK TR55GP'* (stock #3403) - are these a good match for my Bonnie?

I already have my ceramic brake bads now i just got to get a decent set of rotors.

What do you gap these plugs at?

And does anyone know why it says not to adjust the gap on these plugs?

Thanks for the link.

Well i put in the Plat NGK TR55'*,along with the Belden 7mm wires and everything seems fine.The old plugs were AC Delco Plat,they were getting old but not real bad yet.

Changed the oil and put in Synth blend in along with the old trusty fram oil filter.

Next step this weekend im going to do the brakes (ceramic,along with slotted rotors) and the fuel filter.
