im in apple valley mn! hehe
1 thing that increased my torque, was a highflow cat, what kind of cat did you replace yours with? not suggesting you abuse your car, but on dry pavement, can you spin your tires? at first i couldn't when i had my 89 toronado (older version of the 3800) a new fuel filter, freshly oiled k&N, new ac delco spark plugs and wires, and taking off and cleaning the throttle body fixed that, not a huge improvement, but at first i couldn't even chrip the tires, after i could spin them some.

The last time I floored it off the line was in summer when it was at its worst and it couldn't even chirp the tires. I suppose i could test it when its cold, I just have a fear of hurting the tranny. The first thing I will probably do is clean the throdle body. I have looked around at auto stores like Checker for intakes, but they don't have any. K&N is what I want, are there any stores around here that sell them or should I order online? As for high flow cats, I've looked on Flowmasters website but they don't have any for my car. Where did you get yours?

88, put your year and model in your sig. It'll help alot. The cat depends on the piping on the car. It may be 2.25", or it may be 2.5". Any cat that will fit your stock piping will be fine. Just call around for the best price. Tell them you want a free-flowing or performance cat. Mine was 125 bucks installed.

If you want an intake fantastic88 i'll let you know how my own one i'm building from scratch works out. I'm takings ideas from everything ive seen and making a nice one for myself.... Our exhaust uses the same muffler as the F body. So get a flowmaster 80 series for our piping, probably 2.25 or 2.5 if they don't have ours. The flowmaster 80 series is 73 bux on jegs.com
