I know people say that you get used to drone and all the constant rumble but is there any muffler out there that people have used that have a nice idle sound, no drone from 1200 to 2500ish then beastly loud above that.

anyone have or had a muffler/exhuast combo like that?

Magnaflow hi-flow cat and muffler with the stock resonator will growl like it should with no annoying raspy sounds. Good mellow note at idle and light throttle, but wakes up the noise when you want it to.

Our cars are kinda weird where they are louder in mid RPM (or seem like) then upper RPM.

i have a meinike muffler and it only sounds good at idle... to much resonance(know thats spelled wrong) at cruising speed and sounds ricey during accel... :?

Magnaflo flows better.. but from the sound clip.. sounds a lil raspier then flomaster.. what kinda HP lost is there between the 2?

MagnaFlow (wideopen) has a deep throaty sound 2 it and sounds good when u floor it most sound messed up at high rpm'*

What'* the difference between the Flowmaster 40'* and the 80'*? After hearing some of the video clips with the 80'* I'm buying one!

How do they affect the sound of the muffler? Particularly the series 80 flowmaster.
