For the record, my rims held 425hp burnout for 1 min 12 seconds with no issue.
I would, however, REALLY like to see a project like this happen. I'm interested though why your selling the bonnie (as was posted above) are you not going to attempt htis now?

As I have tried to explain before My wifes car is the one up for sale. Take a close looks at the pics from the car for sale and the pics on my TEMP site you will see one has texas plates (The donor car) and the other with NY plates (My wifes car)
My wifes car has no spoiler the donor car does. And as far as the website goes I have already tried to explain that I set it up in a few min. because someone wanted to see my past work.
As for the races:
1. They are a mixture of races in my area. There are the quarter mile runs, the dice runs, the endurance(cannon ball) runs (Distance NY-GA Fillmore, NY 14735- Columbus, Ga 31905) and the circle track, and the mud races.
2. The qulifications depend on the race. For the race on the 14th of October it is an open race. The only rules are the car must be street legal, Have a valid NYS inspection, and must be registered in NY.
3. Yes I do have information for people who want to participate. Whoever wants info can contact me with any of my IM'* or e-mail or use the provided phone # after the first hopefully the phone co. will have it fixed by then.

Again, the burden of proof is on the topic author or person who makes the claim. Unfortunately, there is and will be doubt because of BS'ers that came before you. Not because we hate you, but a project as big as yours needs to be shown as legitimate for people to trust you.

Man, I hope this is for real. It sounds like a fantastic project. As soon as you get some time, just post some pictures and the skeptism will stop.
This should be a fantastic project to follow.
I would also agree with modding an L67. If you do indeed have $35,000 at your disposal you could build a machine that ate corvette'* for breakfast with the stock motor. There are also plenty of 3800 records out there you could work at breaking. If you can crack 10.7 in a Bonneville you've already got one...

To answer any question why we are using an Bonneville. The car is a donor car provided by YEAR ONE'*. We get a car every year from them or one of our other sponsers. For some reason they gave us a 2000 Bonneville. I wish I could choose the vehicle but unfourtunately I can't. Pics are being processed and should be ready tommorow morning. Will post during my lunch tommorow. Right now there is little left of the original car. The entire front end has been torn off. The motor, trans, all suspension, fuel tank trunk and rear floor, and the fire wall are all removed. Today we began fab on a custom frame to fit the unibody. The body will be welded to the frame for extra support. Thye LS7 should be here on Friday. The 4 link parts and the currie 9" rear end arrived today. The rims were finished yesterday on our cnc machine. Trans will be coming from B&M trans to meet our motor and rear end. The reason we are doing a frame under a unibody is very simple. The LS7 puts out 505 hp and 475 ft lbs stock. There is no way the unibody can handle this power and weight under extreme acceleration.

Both cars plates have NY state logos dividing the digits on them. Why is your avatar one of the pics from your wife'* car for sale and not the project car? I went to your index on Geocities and downloaded a bigger pic of your project car. It has the same blemish on the driver'* side front chrome bumper trim as your wife'* car. The sticker in the window is the same too.
Also on the website and listed as one of your past project cars:
"THE JAIL FIREBIRD" is a 1978 Camaro

Who is Steve Lockett? And what happened to the LS1 engine?

Please shut up the skeptics and post some sort of pictures. ANYTHING. Some pictures of some project progress is worth more than any number of words you can post at this point. Give us some real pics and it'll help to believe you.

You have been busted and there is no way to get out of it.
Vette in France?
Mr.B'* Auto shop?
Suburban in Cali?
Man, I can't believe you IM'ed me last night and had the nerve to lie to me and say that everything you are doing is true. Oh BTW, when you told me that you had a 2-door bonne, I knew it fake as soon as you said that.
Just one question... Why did you bother to lie to us? We are a well experienced, high knowledge site that takes pride in our cars and what we can do to them. We KNOW that a RWD/2 Door conversion cannot be done unless 10k+ is put into the car alone for frame and body modding.
