It gave me a little better throttle response and improved my fuel economy a little. I was averaging around 30-33mpg now it seems to be about 34-36 but that could just be my driving habitts.
There are quite a few upgrades to be done to the Bonnevilles, most of which can be found in this section. Search some of the past topics and you will find some great information.
Welcome.

You might want to go back to page 5 about half way down and make your son remove the image of your business license.
Wouldn't be a good idea to leave it up
BTW,welcome to the family.
You would have never known we existed if it weren't for your son

Man this thread is insane!! Hopefully things are straightened out now...I can say that correct grammar has improved 10-fold with the "new" screen name! Stick around. This is a great club and you'll get answers to almost any question you have. The knowledge base is HUGE!

Thanks. I found that my intake went south on me about a year ago now. I purchased a new one from the Dealership here in town and havent had any problems as of yet but I will keep an eye on ti. Does anyone make an aftermarket performance intake for these as they do for the LS1 and the LS6?

Are you talking Intake manifold or air intake?
Since you have the 2000 model a Fender Well (air) Intake (FWI) by Intense www.intense-racing.com would be a good choice for you. A lot of people build Custom (Cold) Air Intakes (CAI'*) too.
The only thing people have done with the intake manifold is to replace the EGR stovepipe with a smaller one and install a metal ring to reinforce the composite manifold near the coolant passages. Bob Dillon and Bill Buttermore are the two who have done the most with this "fix."
