Most mods will increase mileage as hp and tq increase. Assuming your driving style remains unchanged.
I'm still getting 29-30mpg with all the mods listed in my sig. The car started at 25mpg when I got it. This is cruising on the freeway at 70-75.

A modded SSEi can be as fast or faster than a Trans Am and get a LOT better fuel mileage.
I am getting 30 mpg with my SSEi now at a steady pace.
My TA firebird with a 400 is only a tic faster, running high 13 quarters, but gets less than 15 mpg.
Some SSEi'* are a lot faster than that. It doesn't take much.

Hello,
Define street legal...LOL, Yes i drive it on the street. No converters, no wipers, no heater, dirt track tires for the street. 410 gears in a 12 bolt, 477 Big Block chevy, 13:1 compression, 1048 BG carb, Cheater NOS ( 175 HP ) TH 400 tranny, 4500rpm ATI Converter, way to much to list... This car run'* 10:20'* at the track. Gas mileage isnt great at all. 15 gallon cell last'* 1 full weekend of driving including street racing. Get'* expensive while running VP racing fuel at $5.00 a gallon but, it'* a blast and the torque is awesome.... Fun car for burnout'*...We are all different in what we enjoy and drive. Im in no way bustin anyone for trying to build something different. If someone has gotten their bonneville to run in the 11'* i take my hat off to them.

Bonnevilles are slow, Im not trying to make it some kind of wanna B Race car. I have a Trans Am that will take care of any Bonneville so im not worried about being SLOWWWWW..
