light kill switch...
I was wondering who knows which wire do I tap into to make a kill switch for ALL the lights..( including the twilight sentinal ). I would much prefer to tap into one wire if possible instead of tapping into all the wires to the lights...

Are you talking ALL lights as in Interior, Exterior, Headlamps, Taillamps, etc.. ??? If so I dont think thats possible. You can kill each seperate section by putting a switch after each of that sections fuses coming from the back of the fuse box. For example, I've read (and plan on doing it myself soon) that some people have wired up a brake light kill switch. Find the fuse in the fuse box, there should be 2 wires on the back of that plug for the fuse, coming in and going out. pull the fuse and find out which one still has current, and which one doesnt, and that will tell you the source wire. Put a switch on the wire without current, plug the fuse back in and bingo, you now have a fused, protected kill switch. For the dome lights, same deal, find the "Interior Light" fuse, and repeat. Headlamps, Brakes, Tails, same thing... I dont however think there is 1 wire for ALL the lights in the car :(

Me bad... .. I mean all exterior lights... I was originally going to put a kill switch for the DRL.. but decided to just go all the way .. headlights, marker lights, and tailights ( twilight sentinal ? ). I wanted to know if there was one wire.. or two that I can splice into, because I really don't want to run numerous switches just to do it.. ( knowing my luck.. I"d forget to turn them ALL back on ). I too am planning on doing the brake light kill switch.. I just need to find the time and the proper switch ( I want the constant switches that requires you to hold it down to keep the brake light de-activated.. that way when I let go.. I won't forget to turn it back on.. Do you know which fuse it is for the brake lights ??
