Well, at OfficeMax (dont know if theyre in Canada) you can buy a 6 pack of 8.5x11 sheets of cling (it was te only one on the shelf for US $12 )and I just made my own and did a sweet backing with white spray paint to make the wording show up against my Maroon interior. This is absolutely no help to the professional thing, but for a temp fix untill we can get something professionally done its a good substitute, and it can be whatever you want it to be. Ive already gotten many positive comments on it (tho none of them have been bonne owners )

Stickers add HP jokes..

Membership donation with exclusive rights isn't bad.. but what aobut exclusive meets? That wouldn't work ( since there'* only been 2 locations with meets to my recollection and 1 of them is in Ontario which is growing slowly but surely.. then to outcast ppl cause they're not exclusive doesn't appeal to me at all ).. however if you strike a deal with one of our vendors.. maybe they can give a wee bit lil discount for exclusive members on their mods and parts that maybe more usable? I"ve talked it over a lil with Spanky about this and the shirts decals or license plate holder ( which I would get if they made it ) would be a good idea along with some webspace so they can post pics and whatever they like ( with some kinda parental lock out too so if they want pics that are rated "r" ( Rice )). Even Bonneville key chains would be added benefits since only Tamara, I, and now Jim has "Bonneville" key chains. That way no body can complain about either decals or plates and such.

As for the Treasurer.. Jim stated a good point of how members are from all over the world ( i.e. Russia, Canada, and so on ).. so the tresurerer would have to be based in US ( for US accounts and not the long run around ). I also agree that it should be a long present and active member of this board.

As for Regional President and such.. what would they be doing or entitled and such to do? Something like that I believe should be best voted in by the regional groups and done later on when there is sufficient amount of members within the area.. but to be honest is it necessary? And would there be a term like presidency where votes has to be cast again after so many years ? ( i.e. Tamara was the first person to attempt a Bonneville Meet in Ontario to my knowledge then I jumped in ( joined later ) and participated to help start it.. so would that put Tamara as the regional President of BC of the Ontario Chapter )

LOL...Drifter makes some good points. I chewed his ear off pretty good on these issues, almost to the point where his ears were bent and falling off

In theory, all is possible...in theory.

Heres my take on it (bear in mind Drifter paraphrased nicely). Any funds donated to Bonnevilleclub, (if Jeff so chooses, this is his site and has said many times that he wants to keep this site free, god bless him...) should be in US$, this poses a problem to members that live outside of the US, I personally can't commit $25 USDs....well, CDN yes, you know what I mean.

I have to thank Hailey and parrallelcircuits for spearheading this endeavour...however, it is very difficult to choose a decal design. Everyone has their own opinions. My solution would be allow the owner, admins and mods to choose one of 3 possible entries, show the winner to the club, give them a choice, yes or no....you want it...here it is...you think its not cool...Don't buy it. Simple.

For the decals, license plate covers, keychains, web server space, it all involves $$$, which brings us back to square one.

OK... the decal I agree with you.. you don't like.. you don't buy.. in which case for the ppl interested.. maybe start another thread after you guys ( admins mods ) finalize which 3 it is.. vote only those three.. then have a running post on who can contribute.

Jeff wants to keep it free... HE rules :admin ownz:

so then maybe run another poll to get feedback from all the members if they should open up and help contribute to the cost of webspace via exclusive members style

:off topic:
Guess this post may have gotten off topic from it original.. sorry me bad.. I'll shad up

Its nice to see some action in this post again I almost thought it was going to die. What Drifter420 and 89BonnieSE89 has said in the last few posts sounds good to me the only thing I want to clarifiy is I never wanted donations or an account started for the site, I praise Jeff for keeping it free. I only asked for some help from others to get the decal started. I don't know if I ever made myself clear but they way I planned on doing it is the few who helped with the initial costs would get their money back as the decals sold. It was just the up front costs that I couldn't swing alone. Because we are looking at anywhere between $150 and $250 dollars to get a nice supply of the decals made. There is certainly more research needed in the search for decals I have only contacted one vendor and unless I am just very LUCKY there are vendors out there that can do it cheaper. I was trying to give everybody and idea of what to expect.

I agree completely. I only started this thread to get the idea more exposure...and I'm glad it'* working. If you look at the number of people who have said they can help financially, I think we should have enough. We just have to work out the details now.

STick around ( I know that was a lame pun.. but had to be said. ) I"ll call around here and know of a few places that may do it.. just give me some rough figure on quantity, size, and image They most likely MAY not charge toolin fees and such.. but I think they're going to also ask bout the design and color and such.. so maybe I'll call around when we have settled on which we're going to use for logo/pic for it to get exact $$.

K.. mods/admin ( especially the post ****** ) settle the top 3 and let the voting begin
P.*.
And since it will be in Canadian Fund.. it would work out better to the Americans ( and they don't get charge for duty fees and crap )

I don't think we should move forward with anything until we get the Treasurer thing sorted out. I had very little in the way of nominations or interested parties. The lack of interest was pretty disheartening. To those that replied to my by PM, thank you.

Someone has to manage the money before we move forward. WHILE that'* happening, lets have everyone who wants enter a pic in a contest. Email the entries (no more than 2 per person) to me. My email address can be found on my website (just click the SSEi graphic in my sig). I won't post it here for fear of spambots.

After the entries are gathered, I'll post them in a poll. We'll narrow them down by voting ASSUMING we have a treasurer identified at that point who can take paypal cash.

Sound good? If this works for everyone, it might just happen this time.
