I'm due for a wash and re-oil. Never done it to a K&N before, got my kit today @ Bumper 2 Bumper.

I'm MIA driving for a few days next week for wisdom teeth (gonna suck) so i'll put my air filter out of commission for a few days too with washin it.

Any tips? Anything help a lot of the X-streams?

follow the instructions....best way to do it and it'* cake.

make sure u do it at like noon and it'* nice hot and sunny.

Takes me maybe 40 minutes to do a full wash and recharge. Doing it on a very hot day helps out with evaporation.

Once wet when you want to dry... to help it dry hold filter and swing it to let most of the water come off. Just watch what you swing at...it'* gonna get wet.
