im 99% sure it is just a resistor...
i always say its better to look like an idiot and ask a Q than look like an idiot for spending the $

It'll work for a track run or two, then your O2 sensor will figger it out and compensate.
Buy a resistor at radio shack instead. Anyone here with an FSM or Chilton'* can tell you a good value to simulate 60°F. And it'll cost you 25 cents.

Well, SLP sells good stuff. But it basically does what my 10 dollar resistor does( I paid too much not knowing what it was until it arrived). Tells the computer that its taking in cooler air. The it advances/retards the timing accordingly. 22 bucks its rather cheap, and its a fitting not just a wire.
