I wasn't really pushing a PEM, I was showing how restrictive a stock manifold is.

I know Dan. My mention was to try to help him not jump at a pem next, because for some odd reason ZZP was talking him out of the PLog.

Personally, I say find a set of used TOGs or SLP headers, they go for about $450 to $500. A Plog is OK, but I've seen to many cracked ones.

That will depend on the headers. I believe pacesetters bolt in to the stock points. TOGs use a shorter downpipe. Not sure on the SLP.

I think purplehaiezer had his installed. I do all my own work, so I have no clue what a shop would charge.

What exactly is the difference between a PEM and Plog?

Also, is their a big difference in powergain and sound between a Plog and Headers?

PEMs are stock manifolds that are opened up a bit. They are better then stock, but only a little. A Plog is much better then PEMs. Headers are the best choice. Pacesetters are on the low end with SLP and TOGs higher up on the performance scale. As for sound, each setup will be different. The more open the exhuast the deeper the tone will be.

So if i got headers, my exhaust will pretty much be complete right? Downpipe, high flow cat and headers. Is there anything else i could add besides mufflers that would make it louder/flow better?

Quick Reply: Just got a ZZP 3" Dowpipe and 3" high flow cat installed.
