Iridium plug gapping
#2
Yes, and no.....Any particular Iridium plug (Autolite XP, NGK Laser) is pre-gapped......
Kicker to that is that, that plug is gapped for use in it'* particular application.
The 2 problems that exist with that is that you WILL have to re-gap the plug appropriately with performance modifications. And, with as many hands as a box of plugs goes through from when its boxed to when it'* in your hands, I would guess at least 1 in a 100 boxes of plugs have been dropped.
So....pre-gapped?....Yes....Check it anyway?....Yes.....Change with mods?....YES
