Cost wise they are about the same. But rockers are much easier to install.

but you get more bang with the cam

anyway, if you have the funds, you can make tons of power with the IC. Many of thje 5 digit build guys said that if they were to do it again the IC would be first

If you plan to do a big build, then by all means, put a IC on when ever it'* convenient, such as when installing a cam or ported LIM. But to have one just for the sake of having it, the money can be better spent in other areas. Namely the exhaust.

ohh that is where i disagree. The exhaust is one of the last things to touch on the car. The Stock catback is more than enough to power a low 13'* car.

headers and the cat are the only things that i would mess with in the exhaust department.

if your gonna drop coin anywere but a tuner FIRST

I always build up exhaust first, headers or PEMs, then something to work the valve more, rockers or CAM. After the engine can exhale you can move on to everything else. Tunning can come in at any point. Soon is better then later though.

A car is much like a woman. Where do you start. Front or back. Top or bottom. Ok, I'll go sit down with my beer now and shutup

haha wow! all this controversy lol. well the first thing im doing is my exaust but i am totally screwing myself for a brief time because im opening up 3" from the cat because i assumed that the DP was 3" for some odd reason, so now i need to look at new headers and DP but im going to save up and get something good. so for now im having the muffler shop install everything from the cat back, as it will probably be a wile before i get headers and downpipe to compleate the exhaust. after that i think im going to get a new PCM but i will need to figure out what to change on it and what already comes programed, but that is a different thread for a different time.

trust me, the exhaust isnt a restriction untill your in the 12 sec range. do not go 3" you dont need it or want the aound

do headers, and you wont need a DP. 3" cat and your all good

well the main rerason for getting the exhaust was the sound and i already orderd the 3" mufflers so im just doing it. eventually it will all be 3" and then in the future when i buy another car i will not use my bonn at as a daily driver and i can MOD the heck out of it, but the way i see it now is its not gonna hurt anything for the time being.

Agreed, the 2.5" you have is more then enough. Good headers, 3" DP and a high flow cat and your all set. The biggest restriction you have right now is your front manifold and your stock cat.
