Default HyperTech Chip and t-stat

I am thinking about getting the Hypertech chip and t-stat for my Bonnie. I have these on my camaro and I saw a noticable difference. Does anyone know the part # so I can order it from Summit? Thanks!!!

Hypertech doesn't offer a chip for your car that I know of, but Jet may still. The thermostat is no big deal. It'* identical to the Stant. Buy a Stant for half the price (go 180°).

If you're considering the Stage 2 chip, intake, exhaust, and 180° thermostat are required first. The chip is tuned for that as a bare minimum.

Hypertech does have a chip for 92 SSEi'* and a 160 thermostat, also. Go to www.hypertech-inc.com and ignore the spanish notice. Go to products, then you'll see from there. The Thermomaster chip is the model that requires the thermostat.

So in order to use the chip you will need to add a intake,
upgrade the exhaust, and change the stat?

Most performance chips require that at a minimum. You need that for the chips tuning.

Depends on what you're driving. Can you put your year, model, and any mods in your signature?

Alot depends on which chip you buy. Superchips seems to have the lowest preference among our owners. Hypertech and Jet both seem good. If you were SC, you'd gain more, and this is just a guess, but I'd say a chip would gain you 10-15 hp, 20 tops. And that'* assuming you do Intake, Exhaust, and 180° thermostat first.
