True indeed.. but is the carbon safe?? Don't mean to sound rude... I don't mean it like that.. just lookin at all those smoke coming out and supposedly it'* also carbon.. so if carbon is good enough to be stuck everywhere.. I'm sure it would be good enough to get stuck on the sensor.. but nah.. only 1 way to find out I guess.

An expensive trial if it contaminates the O2. A replacement from the dealer is close to $200. Canadian.

True.. it is expensive.. Crappy Tire quoted me $176 for the O2 sensor front. I have 123K Km on it.. and won't be due for oil change till 126K. Already have new plugs on her already.. so debating if I want to do this or not.

Or you can get them on ebay (AC Delco units) for $35-40. I did and it was identical to the one that came out (sans crud). MPG went up about 8-10 mpg average, even though I never had a code. :?

well.. will give it a try in a month or so.. next oil change. and hopefully it don't foul out the O2 sensor or my plugs..
