High Flow Installed
Today I had my Autosound high flow cat converter installed, I took a look at the pipe and it was fine, so its a quasi cat back exhaust, all by Magnaflow and some by GM :p. Installed $250.
A minor change in sound, a bit more rumble, still very quiet at idle, just how I like it.
Accleration is a different story, its just...easier now, far more smooth and seems to reach 100 kph (60 mph) effortlessly.
Oh and the headers plan is dead. We talked about it today, not worth the money for such minimal gains on the Northstar.
Onto the TB...
Anyone wanna take a stab at what my crank HP is now? *see mod list*

LOL...clown
With the TB and the intake manifold mod, I'm hoping for 20+ with the air intake/exhaust combo.
280-290 crank HP would be nice....simply cuz aftermarket "stuff" is just not there :?

i bet the cat-back is at least 10 due to how much GM bottles them up to bring noise levels down. Remember he is DOHC, so it probably makes more of a difference for him.

Yea, im sure it can help him out a lot. I just get mad at how much "gains" people and companies say they get from some mods. Im not talking directly about Jim or anyone here, but just in general. I want to see some actual Dyno'* to start believing stuff. Dyno numbers for exhaust, air intakes, and custom pcm'*.

you'll get your numbers
The car feels much more jumpy, I guess you need to experience the "seat of your pants" type feeling.
But I agree with you Twist...after all, I have 20 000 HP right
