It'* also not necessary. There are plenty of ways to get the same result by improving/changing the stock mounts.
I would caution ANYONE with an H body not to install the GP upper dogbone braces without some very creative support in place (which probably isn't possible due to the hood structure and large radiator).
The GP has the dogbones because they have a different subframe. They can't run lower mounts where we do.
In addition, that solid RR dogbone is a VERY bad idea. The stresses applied by the drivetrain have no buffer. You're going to break your differential housing eventually. And have to live with a helluvalot of vibration.

A slightly modded L67 puts down far more torque off the line than you do. I gaurantee my car would rip my core support out of the car if I did that.
And it'* not necessary. I've replaced my stock mounts and have VERY little engine flex. Remember what I said. The GP doesn't have the same lower mounts as the Bonneville. On the 2k'*, do the hockey puck.
On the older Bonnevilles, remove the shock strut (94 and newer, older cars upgrade to this mount then modify it) like billboost37 did, and replace it with a custom damper.
Do not attempt dogbones on the H bodies. Please try a search on that subject on this Forum.

PA, ALL OF OUR CARS have the lower dogbone. But we also have factory OEM bushings, not thin rubber sleeves.
Can we get back on the correct topic now? You've hijacked a topic about a modification to a much newer and different setup than you have.
