just guessing here... but i think you are just supposed to turn it to the on position, and not start.. then do you see the light?
try disconnecting the battery and starting over...
when you say 4k limit... do you mean rev limiter in park??? that is a GOOD thing and you want that

Problem...
1) The car starts...which it isn't supposed to do when I try to start it right after installing the PCM.
2) My 4,000 rpm rev limiter is still there.
3) The security light never comes on.
I tried calling Todd but he'* out of town until the 5th. Do you think Intense acidentally sent me another stock PCM?
Pics are coming tonight.

4k limiter will always be there to protect from grenading the engine in idle
Now on the CASE learn, Im not peticularly sure, since the 97 GTPs dont need a case learn, but Im not sure if the 97 B-ville would be the same. I doubt it will assuming the GTP and Bonneville for the 97 are the same, minus the obvious body differences.

I'm still confused as to why I didn't have to do a security re-learn. I'll try what haro suggested in the morning.

Ok, here come the pics....
This has to go...
Gone!
Down in there with the airbox gone.
Tube off of throttle body.
Charcoal canister out of its hole.
Hole!
Up in the air
PCM Hookups
Coupler on (throttle body clamp replaced with stock one in final pic, intense provided clamp didn't tighten enough)
Better view
Even better view
Agh! It'* too long! (hacksaw was the solution)
Filter from above
Relocated IAT
Intake is finished!
The filter
The final setup (PCM and Charcoal canister relocated)
<Peter Griffin> Alriiight </Peter Griffin>
Last pic up on the lift (That guy was helping me out)
A triumphantly blurry pic of me with my best friend, the impact wrench.
