Finally, Rockers
I've searched around and as a slow person I need a better understanding about rockers. I'm going to purchase some 1.8 rockers ASAP and to my understanding I need to keep my current springs, and push rods right?
I need a custom pcm to take advantage of the rockers right?
Are there any other particular thing I need to consider when purchasing rockers (Aluminum or Steel)?
Are there any special thing to valve'*? Since I have the EGRless 92' I might as well change the valves also.

A few points:
1. The only source for 1.8 rockers in the States was ZZP.
2. The 1.8 rockers at ZZP don't work with 92 heads. You need 93-94 L27 heads or 93-95 L67 heads.
3. They work with stock springs and pushrods. The only reason I upgraded was because I raised my shift points and had valve float at the top end. My stock springs were tested when they came off, and were still at OEM spec.
4. Stock S1 springs are already stronger than S2.
5. ZZP no longer sells those rockers, so you're looking at 500-600 bucks out of Austrailia if memory serves, as INTENSE hasn't started selling them yet. And even if they did, you still need different cylinder heads.

So no matter what, if I upgrade to 1.8 I have to upgrade my heads? I could get that from the junkyard on a half off day.
Can't I use some rockers from a LS1 engine, out the junkyard? Or from ebay?

I know I need a 3/8 stud right? The ones from zzp were built to where you don't have to modify your valve covers too right?
