All the O2 behind the cat does is make sure the cat is still there and working properly. Yeah for $100 to my front door I think thats a great deal, I'm going to clamp it in the mean time and when I go to work I'll have our master welder weld it for me (No more dirty looks from neighbors afternoon after I come home at 4am rumbling away pulling into my driveway)

I just ordered the same part yesterday, my CAT has been on it'* way out for a while now.
I was pretty happy with their over the phone, they seemed like nice peeps. Should have mine in by this weekend.

I put a universal High flow on mine recently, the installer cut the old cat off right behind the flange and used the flange to attach the new cat. He also cut it off right before the rear O2. He said he would rather do it that way then put on a direct fit. 2 welds, $100 installed.

Come home today and find my cat here, looks pretty good and the welds look good. I looked it over for sharp edges and burs and didn't find anything to worry about in that respect. Looks like this will go on the car tomorrow or Saturday. I will keep everyone posted on how it goes on.
Over all about 24-25" long & the ads from Sundays paper were used to pack the box.
Looking inside the converter, that black spot in there isn't really there the flash just didn't light the shot up very well

Does anyone actually have some numbers regarding stock vs. aftermarket cat flow and performance gains? I was comparing my '95 ssei and '01 ssei. They are different cats from the factory. I'm wondering if the new model actually is a higher flow model.
I also noticed that the resonator is different. Any flow numbers, etc?

Well just got home from installing my HoganPerformance bolt in cat. And I must say it fit very well and could not ask for better. I cut a few inches before the metal hanger that’* behind the rear O2. Took a 2.5" ID/2.5"OD piece of pipe and all fit together, also used two 2.5" clamps and nothing is leaking. But sometime next week @ work I'll have our master welder put a nice bead on there for me.
(I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow when there’* light.)
